This dance performance celebrates the 30 year legacy of Augustin as more than a paper as a living archive of resistance, survival, and community care. Rooted in punk energy and the DIY spirit that fueled its beginnings, Augustin has grown into a platform that amplifies voices from the margins and creates possibilities where society often closes doors.
The performance will embody this journey: beginning with raw, fragmented gestures echoing the urgency of punk sharp, fast, and uncompromising. From this ground, the movement gradually expands into collective rhythms, softer flows, and shared improvisations that symbolize the growth of community, the weaving of many voices, and the joy of creating space together. Celebration is the central theme not as a simple act of entertainment, but as a radical stance: to dance as those who have survived, who have insisted on being seen and heard, and who continue to create possibility. The performance will invite the audience into a shared moment of joy and rebellion, honoring Augustin as a cultural force that has carried care, critique, and creativity across three decades.
