In den letzten Jahren hat Spice Mixers gemeinsam mit coolen Leuten einige wirklich wilde, unvergessliche Partys in Wien organisiert. Die letztjährige Pride-Afterparty „TRANSDIMENSIONAL“ ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür. Doch dieses Jahr wollen wir uns wieder auf unsere Community besinnen.
Es ist gut, sich daran zu erinnern, was unsere Prioritäten sind. Größere Partys und große Headliner sind cool, aber dabei könnten wir vergessen, dass die wahren Superstars von Community-geführten Projekten wie dem unseren unsere Leute auf der Tanzfläche und lokale Künstler*innen sind.
Deshalb haben wir uns mit DasLOT zusammengetan, um am TECHNOLOT-Projekt teilzunehmen und euch eine bescheidene Feier der queeren & trans Freude der globalen Mehrheit zu bieten.
Dieses Mal ist unsere Kapazität drastisch reduziert – fast zehnmal kleiner als bei der Pride-Veranstaltung im letzten Jahr. Deshalb haben wir beschlossen, zwei verschiedene Programme für denselben Abend zu organisieren. Das eine ist für diejenigen, die direkt von der Parade kommen und früh feiern wollen; das andere ist für diejenigen, die bis tief in die Nacht feiern wollen. Beide Programme sind separat buchbar, es gibt aber auch die Möglichkeit, Kombitickets zu erwerben.
Das gibt uns allen die Möglichkeit, bewusste Entscheidungen für den Abend zu treffen. Wir wollen Platz für alle schaffen, für so viele Menschen wie möglich, wobei queere und trans Personen of Color Vorrang haben. Bitte plant im Voraus mit euren Freund*innen und kauft das Ticket, das am besten zu euch passt.

In recent years, Spice Mixers has organized and collaborated with cool folks to throw some really wild unforgettable parties in Vienna. Last year’s pride afterparty, TRANSDIMENSIONAL is one good example of that.But for this year, we want to return to our community.
It’s a good practice to remember what our priorities are. Scaling up for bigger parties and crazy headliners is cool, but in the process, we might forget that the real superstars of community-led projects such as ours are our folks on the dancefloor and local artists.
So, we have joined forces with DasLOT to participate in the TECHNOLOT project and bring you a humble celebration of queer & trans joy of the global majority.
This time, our capacity is drastically small – almost 10 times less than last year’s pride event. Therefore, we have decided to organize two different programs for the same night. One is for those who want to come straight from the parade and party early; the other one is for those who want to party into the night. They are both ticketed separately, with the chance to get combination tickets as well.
This gives all of us the opportunity to make decisions for the night consciously. We want to make space for everyone, as many people as possible, with a priority for queer and trans people of colour. Please plan ahead with your friends and buy the ticket that is most suitable for you.
As always, there will be food, collective care, and as always, great music and dance.
